Our Story
e-Kirana was born from a simple observation: while large retailers and quick commerce platforms have access to sophisticated technology, the neighborhood Kirana store—the backbone of Indian retail—was being left behind.
In 2024, we watched as over 200,000 Kirana stores were forced to close their doors, unable to compete with the convenience and speed of online platforms. These weren't just businesses closing—they were families losing their livelihoods and communities losing their heart.
We asked ourselves: What if we could give every Kirana store owner the same digital capabilities as the big players? What if they could accept online orders, manage inventory smartly, track deliveries in real-time, and have their own customer-facing website?
That question became e-Kirana—a complete shop management solution designed specifically for the needs and realities of Indian Kirana stores.
